Dopo la cancellazione all’ultimo minuto dell’Antibes Yacht Show, il manager di Port Vauban e vice Sindaco della Città di Antibes, Pauget, ha chiesto all’Associazione per lo Sviluppo di Port Vauban di prendere in considerazione un’alternativa alle date annunciate in precedenza, in modo da non eliminare la Francia dal calendario internazionale Yachting.
L’associazione ha deciso di accettare la sfida lanciata da Pauget e in 3 settimane ha riunito più di 30 partner e il 75% del budget necessario per questo nuovo evento: “Antibes celebra lo Yachting”, che si terrà il 24 e 25 aprile a Port Vauban.
“Antibes celebra lo Yachting” (ACY) è un concetto evento che unisce professionalità e convivialità, una opzione molto adatta alla vita di Port Vauban e anche la migliore alternativa potenzialmente fattibile nel breve lasso di tempo, considerando la mancanza di fondi e di strutture per sostenere simile organizzazione.

L’evento: sul concetto di network in movimento, i professionisti potranno scambiarsi idee ed evidenziare la loro esperienza con incontri B2B. La dimensione umana della manifestazione permetterà di mantenere uno spirito di amicizia, pur rimanendo al top per efficienza.
Brokerage, Charter superyacht, networking, forum lavoro, seminari e molte attività saranno parte del programma di questa due giorni che rappresenta le diverse aziende e le professioni del grande yachting. Il sostegno dell’associazione internazionale MYBA (Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association) permetterà ai professionisti di esporre i loro yacht sulla banchina del porto e di fronte al Bastione San Jaume.
Anche se punta ai professionisti, ACY 2015 sarà aperto al pubblico e l’ingresso sarà gratuito. Questa edizione dimostra un nuovo modo di agire dei vertici del porto, più dinamico, e riflette la solidarietà e la reattività eccezionale del settore Yachting ad Antibes.

After the last-minute cancellation of the Antibes Yacht Show by the company who organised the event, the President of the SAEM, Port Vauban General Manager and first Deputy Mayor of the City of Antibes, Mr. Pauget, asked the ASAP(Association to Support Port Vauban Development) to consider an alternative for the dates announced so as not to leave the popular French Riviera yacht charter destination – Antibes missing from the International Yachting calendar.
ASAP has decided to accept this challenge and in 3 weeks has brought together more than 30 partners and 75% of the budget required for this new event: Antibes Celebrates Yachting which will take place on April 24th and 25th 2015 on Port Vauban, Bastion St Jaume and IYCA (Billionaires Quay).
Antibes Celebrates Yachting (ACY) is an event concept that combines professionalism and conviviality, an option quite suitable to the life on Port Vauban and the best potentially feasible alternative in the short time frame, considering the lack of initial funding and structure to support such an organization.

Event: on the concept of speed networking, professionals can exchange ideas and highlight their expertise to a respective B2B mind. The human dimension of the event set on the Bastion St Jaume, allows to keep a spirit of friendliness while remaining efficient.
Brokerage, superyacht charter, networking, employment forum, seminars and many activities will be part of the program of these two days representing the different companies and professions the large yachting.
The support of the international professional association MYBA (Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association) will allow professionals to exhibit their yachts on the dock of the IYCA as well as in front of the Bastion Saint Jaume.
Although aimed to the professional, ACY 2015 will be open to the public and the entrance will be free.
