Luise Group extends the tourist offer for Superyachts, with new offices in Portofino, Viareggio, Capri and Castellammare di Stabia

A long journey started in Naples in 1847. It passed through the most important Italian tourist areas where, through territorial marketing strategies and by opening up branch offices employing local people, a total of 22 branches were created. These guarantee exclusive services to the yachting world, 7 days a week 24 hours a day non-stop and with an always ready “Yes sir” towards any request made by its clients base made out of superyacht owners and international charter companies. This is in a nutshell the path created by the Luise family, professionals in the world of Yachting. To date it is the only proper network within the superyacht industry in Italy, with over fifty companies and hundreds of partners, including direct and induced companies. In 2018 the growth goes on, starting from the new office already opened in Portofino to the upcoming opening in Viareggio scheduled for May; the info point with luxury services for the nabobs of the sea in Capri created together with Mirko Avellino and Sasi Ruocco of Capri Yacht Services, the synergy initiated between Marina Molo Luise of Naples and the modern berthing place for Castellammare di Stabia’s gigayachts “Stabia Main Port”. The official announcements were made end of last week at the annual meeting of the network of Luise maritime agencies, at the Miramare Hotel in Santa Margherita Ligure, in cooperation with Ucina (Confindustria Nautical Department) and Italian Yacht Masters associations.

“The continuous growth of customers – explains Francesco Luise, Ceo of the Luise Group – pushed us to expand the Riposto offices, near Taormina, where for over twenty years there has been a reception area for our VIP clients to have a drink at sunset or to be able to supply local specialties. In Porto Cervo we doubled the spaces of the Gourmet point specialized in flavors and products of the Italian territory, a DHL Olbia office and other offices for agency services. In Venice we inaugurated the new office, created exclusive tours aimed at strengthening the territorial marketing projects, pushing customers to invest in the territory by involving local operators in the itineraries, with unique experiences for superyacht operators, who are becoming more and more demanding. We are really 7 days a week and 24 hours non-stop operative, with the availability of our team anytime, everywhere “.

Alongside this path there are continuous meetings with trade associations and constant interaction with institutions and other government entities, to represent the Italian territory and be more and more competitive on the international yachting market. The decision to organize last week’s annual meeting of the Luise Group in Santa Margherita Ligure with the presence of Port Authorities, Superyacht captains and Ucina (Confindustria Nautical Department) is no coincidence.

“For us superyacht captains – explained Gino Battaglia, President of the Italian Yacht Masters association – the agency Luise has always been a very important reference point. The presence with companies and local employees in the most important tourist ports of Italy guarantees a unique service, for our navigation, both from the point of view of formalities, streamlining the bureaucratic procedures and with continuous updates on the changes made by the government with regards to berthing or for services like refueling. But above all to offer our guests exclusive services, the real knowledge of the places where we berth, accessing unique services and competitive prices justified by the constant and continuous presence of the Luise agency to support us as captains and vessel owners “.

Among the new regulations presented at the meeting in Liguria, coordinated by Lorenzo Ciquera, manager of the Luise Yachting Riviera based in Sanremo, Portofino and from May also in Viareggio, a broad introduction has been made on the new Nautical code. Thanks to the intervention of Roberto Neglia of Ucina, who underlined “the novelties of a legislative regulation on which it has been worked in a ministerial office for over two years and which will help the operators of the industry, from small boats to Superyachts, to navigate with greater safety along the Italian coasts, with great attention on issues such as environmental protection and safety of navigation “.

But the news are not yet over! In fact, starting from May the season will start again in Naples with the team of the Luise Group in synergy with the company By Tourist and the charter companies of the Gulfs of Naples and Salerno with the promotional sea itineraries, starting from Marina Molo Luise of Naples which will bring Italian and foreign journalists, charter brokers and superyacht captains, from May to September to experience first hand the exclusive tourist offer created by the Maritime Agency Luise for its customers.

Also worth mentioning is the presence at the meeting in Liguria of Paschalis Patsiokas, Ceo of BWA Yachting, one of the Luise Group companies based in 365 ports in the world distributed among the Mediterranean, America and the Caribbean and for over five years partner of the America’s Cup, with the program of luxury reception services for Vip customers at the most important sailing competitions in the world. The journey of the Luise family started from Naples in 1847 and it continues in the most important ports in the world, with the opening of new offices and even creating new technical departments in Naples, with the recruitment of new personnel for the central offices of Naples and the offices of Capri, Castellammare di Stabia, Sorrento, Amalfi Coast and Ischia.

“Building for the territory with great professionalism and sensitivity” – continues Francesco   Luise, Ceo of the Luise Group – our Company is against colonization policies and do not fancy auto-celebrations. Our family has retained the humility of our grandparents who offered concierge services at the time of the Grand Tour to the British royal family, working tirelessly and leading a simple life. Today, the figures show us as being international leaders in the yachting tourism industry, taking care of 80% of the market. But this did not change our way of being, we remained simple people, always placing in the foreground the human and professional profile of every situation and the love for our territory of origin”.
